Receive An Audition Packet
Please send an email with your name, address and phone number
to auditions@masterworkschorale.org
or call (781) 235-6210 and leave this information on our voice
mail.
Our auditions consist of the following three components:
Solo of your choosing to be sung with piano accompaniment. Choose
something that you know well and which you feel shows your voice
to its best advantage. Past choices for solos have included
arias, art songs or hymns. Songs may be sung in English.
Learning Materials
Nine excerpts from choral literature will be provided one week
in advance. You will choose three to prepare which demonstrate
your ability to learn music and which will show you at your
musical best. You will be evaluated on accuracy of pitch, tempo,
and dynamics etc.
