Auditions are scheduled during the rehearsal.

The September 1 rehearsal and auditions will be at this location:

All Saints Church

Free parking in church lot across the street.

After that, weekly rehearsals and auditions are from 7:30pm to 10:00pm at our regular location:

Beth El Temple Center
2 Concord Avenue, Belmont
(near Fresh Pond Circle, Cambridge)

If you would like to audition, please send an email with your name, address and phone number to membership@MasterworksChorale.org or call (617) 858-6785 and leave this information on our voice mail. We will supply additional audition and scheduling information at that time.

Our auditions consist of the following components:

• Solo of your choosing which must be sung with piano accompaniment. Choose something that you know well and which you feel shows your voice to its best advantage. The piece does not have to be memorized. Past choices for solos have included arias, art songs or hymns (your voice part in a choral work is not acceptable as a solo). Songs may be sung in English. A piano accompanist will be provided for you, and you should bring a copy of your music for the accompanist.

• Sight Reading. Consideration is given to accuracy of notes, intervals and rhythm.
